This interview was done
by me over e-mail and using a translator program with the members of conga fury
following their awesome tour of the west coast of the united states. I left
the answers as they were. Despite the limitations of the program I think that
the genuine spirit and awesomeness of Conga fury shines through!

1.How and when did Conga Fury start?
Oden : I was get by BOSS!!
Yoshio : Crazy fucked up daily life!!
Ryuichi : I was playung another band, bat......why?? HA HA!
Tomokazu : I want to great scene of KOCHI, I formed CONGA FURY for
it!!
2.Tell me about the C-beat!!!!!!
Yoshio : I don't know.
Ryuichi : Couldn't D-beat. HA!
Tomokazu : C-beat is CONGA FURY only, It's for CONGA FURY
Oden : We are running now, future too.
3.How was your tour of the west coast of the U.S.A?
Ryuichi : I was happy when I meet many people in USA.
Yoshio : I was sorry for can not speaking english. I wanted to get
contact many people in USA!!
Tomokazu : GREAT!! I wanted to play gig, It's dreams come true!! We
could do it!! we are happy to meet great band & punks. We could get great
time!! Thanks very much!!
Oden : I have got 5Kg, so very fat from USA!! I've got blood &
meat in USA!!
4. Do you have plans to come back to the United States
and tour?
Ryuichi : I don't know.
Yoshio : I want to go to any country!! It's only me!? But band isn't
only one person, We have to discussion. and me want to go again!!
Tomokazu : I want to go again, but we have no plan. If anyone can support
again, We can go again!!??
Oden : Next is eastcoast bullshit disaster 20XX!!
5. What does Conga Fury members do when not playing
music?
Oden : We have played some bands ever for helping.
Ryuichi : We're played melodic band, called"UP STARTER"
Yoshio : JUDGMENT DISORDERLY / W.A.V.E.S.
Tomokazu : I7m playing "GODFREE HO" too now.
6. What are some of your favorite books and movies?
Oden : Movie [KAGEMUSYA] akira kurosawa / Book [MEGAMI] yukio mishima
Ryuichi : I don't read book so much. recentry movie [resovore dogs]
is good.
Tomokazu : I don't read book evre.HA. I love EVIL DEAD movie.
Yoshio : I loved TAKESHI KITANO of book & movie!!
7. What bands do Conga Fury love?
Tomokazu : CAPITALIST CASUALTIES / SPAZZ
Oden : FORWARD / SPERMA / HISATAKA / LOS CRUDOS
Yoshio : GISM / EXECUTE / ZOUO / INSANE YOUTH.....etc REAL JAPANESE

9. Your artwork is very cool and strange. Who does it
for you? Why such big heads????
Tomokazu : The sleeve artwork by Eisaku, He is japanese special manga
artist!! Big head artwork has mean. Please look any our sleeve,you know it.
