Real Punk Without The Bullshit!

Reviews of this album:

MaximumRockNRoll #153:

Damn, this record is great! Totally frantic hardcore punk that races about like a hyperactive child hooked on speed. Snotty vocals, raw guitars, and the rest coming together creating catchy and aggressive punk mixed with some oi to send the listener into moving about like a maniac. This stuff rocks. As soon as one song ends the other one opens up full throttle. Chuck those lame power pop records that the media tells you are punk and go for the real deal. Punk played like it should be.

Endangered Species March ’96:

It starts wuth a blast and continues with a non-stop tempo throughout. That’s punk rawk, pure, and in its only form. Violent Society do everything you want them to do; Viscious-esque vocals, sing along choruses, and finger snapping three chord songs. This is a punk record, and while you can’t go too far punk without corrupting this beauteous child, Violent Society definitely make their mark in the unique realm of punk. Influenced in safe amounts by the Varukers, Blitz, UK Subs, etc. Don’t ignore another great release in a genre that has to work harder to stay alive. Do yourself a favor and get this full length CD, because we all run the risk of some corporate shithole buying a band like this out, and putting the hardworking labels out of business.

Slug & Lettuce #43:

This is excellent!! Total pogo punk with snotty vocals and an uppity punk beat. There’s some Oi’s in their too. Sounds a lot like the Casualties. The punky punk kids are going to eat this up! So far it’s only available on CD. Check these guys out – this is good straight forward old styled pogo punk!
